Natasha vandenHoven is a partner specializing in the area of pensions and benefits, compensation and employment law.  Her practice focuses on pensions, benefits, compensation, employment, governance, fiduciary obligations, statutory duties, contracts, trusts, compliance and tax.  In addition to advising clients on the numerous legal issues relating to pension, benefits and compensation plans, she also provides practical guidance on change of control agreements, employment contracts, and the maintenance and termination of the employment relationship.

Prior to joining Davies, Natasha held the roles of Senior Vice President, Research, Human Resources and Corporate Counsel at one of the leading global human capital and management consulting firms.  In these roles, she managed the national human resources function and national research department, and oversaw all Canadian legal matters.

Natasha has also practised pensions, benefits, employment and labour law in private practice for four years and was a pension analyst with the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (formerly the Pension Commission of Ontario), where she reviewed pension plans and related activities to determine compliance with pension benefits legislation.

Natasha is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario/Canadian Bar Association, Pensions and Benefits section, the Canadian Pension and Benefits Institute, the Association of Canadian Pension Management and the International Pension and Employee Benefits Lawyers Association.

She graduated with an LL.B. from McGill University and also has a B.A. (Honours) in Political Science and French.
